It lies in western Washington along the Snohomish River, about 30 miles northeast of Seattle and 10 miles east of Everett. Monroe is about 8 miles northeast, while Bothell is roughly 15 miles southwest of the city. Snohomish is located at 47.9129° North latitude and 122.0982° West longitude. The 2020 Census recorded 10,076 residents. The city covers about 3.17 square miles (8.21 square kilometers), with most of its area consisting of land.
