Sturgis is a city located in St. Joseph County, Michigan, the United States. It lies in southwestern Michigan, about 40 miles southeast of Kalamazoo and roughly 35 miles south of Battle Creek. Three Rivers is about 15 miles north, while Coldwater is approximately 20 miles east of Sturgis. The city is located at 41.7995° North latitude and 85.4192° West longitude. The 2020 Census recorded 10,994 residents. Sturgis covers about 6.12 square miles, or approximately 15.85 square kilometers.
