Three Rivers is a city located in St. Joseph County, Michigan, the United States. It lies in southwestern Michigan, about 25 miles southwest of Kalamazoo and roughly 35 miles east of Benton Harbor. Constantine is about 15 miles south, while Schoolcraft is approximately 15 miles northwest of Three Rivers. The city is located at 41.9439° North latitude and 85.6325° West longitude. The 2020 Census recorded 7,270 residents. Three Rivers covers about 7.11 square miles, or approximately 18.41 square kilometers. The city takes its name from the three rivers that meet in the community: the St. Joseph River, Portage River, and Rocky River. These waterways shaped the area's early settlement, transportation, milling, and industrial development.
