Muskegon Heights is a city located in Muskegon County, Michigan, the United States. It lies in western Michigan, just east of Lake Michigan and about 3 miles south of Muskegon. Grand Haven is roughly 15 miles southwest, while Grand Rapids is about 35 miles southeast. Muskegon Heights is positioned near 43.201° North latitude and 86.238° West longitude. The 2020 Census recorded 9,705 residents. The city covers about 3.00 square miles, or 7.77 square kilometers, of land.
