Crowley is a city located in Tarrant County in the U.S. state of Texas, United States. The city was established in the late nineteenth century following the arrival of the Gulf, Colorado and Santa Fe Railway and was named after S.H. Crowley, a railroad official. Crowley developed as a small agricultural settlement and later grew as a suburban community within the Dallas–Fort Worth metropolitan area.
