Vidor is a city located in Orange County in the U.S. state of Texas, United States. The city was established in the early twentieth century and was named after lumberman Charles Shelton Vidor. Vidor developed as a timber and industrial community in Southeast Texas and later grew as part of the Beaumont–Port Arthur metropolitan region.
