Seabrook is a city located in Harris County in the U.S. state of Texas, United States. The city was established in 1895 and was named after Seabrook W. Sydnor, an early developer who helped promote settlement in the area. Seabrook developed as a coastal community along Galveston Bay and later became known for its marinas, recreational boating, and proximity to the Houston metropolitan area.
