Bowling Green is a city located in Pike County, Missouri, the United States. It lies in northeastern Missouri, between the Mississippi and Missouri rivers. Bowling Green is approximately 85 miles northwest of St. Louis, 35 miles west of Hannibal, and about 45 miles northeast of Columbia. The city is located at approximately 39.3412° North latitude and 91.1951° West longitude. The 2020 Census recorded 5,131 residents. Bowling Green covers about 3.64 square miles, or 9.43 square kilometers, with most of the area consisting of land. The Pike County Courthouse is a major landmark in the center of the community and reflects Bowling Green's role as the county seat.
