Corry is also close to the New York border and sits within the foothills of the Allegheny Plateau. The city lies at approximately 41.9212° North latitude and 79.6400° West longitude. Corry covers about 1.58 square miles (4.09 sq km) and had 5,660 residents in the 2020 Census. The city was founded in the 19th century and incorporated as a borough in 1861 before becoming a city in 1880.
