Where is Grove Located?

Grove is a township located in Cameron County, Pennsylvania, the United States. It lies in eastern Cameron County in the forested Allegheny Highlands, about 15 miles east of Emporium and roughly 45 miles southwest of Renovo. Grove Township borders Potter County to the north and Clinton County to the east and southeast. The township is located at approximately 41.384° North latitude and 78.051° West longitude. The 2020 Census recorded about 111 residents. Grove Township covers about 73.93 square miles, or 191.47 square kilometers, making it one of the larger townships in Cameron County. Most of the land is forested and remains largely undeveloped. First Fork Sinnemahoning Creek flows through the township and joins Sinnemahoning Creek farther south. The surrounding landscape includes steep wooded hills, mountain streams, and public forest land. Nearby attractions include Sinnemahoning State Park, Bucktail State Park Natural Area, and portions of the Elk, Moshannon, and Sproul state forests. The area is well suited to hiking, hunting, fishing, wildlife viewing, and other outdoor activities.
