Nevada is a city located in Vernon County, Missouri, the United States. It lies in western Missouri near the Kansas border, about 90 miles south of Kansas City and roughly 35 miles north of the state line. Butler is about 25 miles east, while Fort Scott, Kansas, is around 30 miles west. Nevada is positioned near 37.839° North latitude and 94.355° West longitude.
