Town and Country is a city located in St. Louis County, Missouri, the United States. It lies in west-central St. Louis County, about 15 miles west of downtown St. Louis and roughly 20 miles east of Chesterfield. Creve Coeur is about 8 miles north, while Ballwin is approximately 8 miles southwest of Town and Country. The city is located at 38.6292° North latitude and 90.4634° West longitude. The 2020 Census recorded 11,446 residents. Town and Country covers about 11.24 square miles, or approximately 29.11 square kilometers. The landscape includes wooded neighborhoods, rolling terrain, open fields, creeks, and landscaped properties typical of suburban St. Louis County. The city was incorporated in 1950 and developed from a largely rural area into a residential community as the St. Louis metropolitan area expanded westward.
