Buckeye is a city located in Maricopa County, Arizona, the United States. It is about 35 miles west of Phoenix and 25 miles west of Goodyear. Buckeye is located at approximately 33.3703° North latitude and 112.5838° West longitude. The 2020 Census recorded 91,502 residents, and the city covers about 393.13 square miles (1,018.20 sq km). Skyline Regional Park is a major attraction, while the city's large desert area reflects its location in the Sonoran Desert. Buckeye was founded in 1877 and incorporated in 1929. Its location along Interstate 10 has helped it become one of the fastest-growing communities in the Phoenix metropolitan area.
