Colusa is a city located in Colusa County, California, the United States. It is the county seat of Colusa County and lies about 70 miles north of Sacramento and 30 miles south of Willows. Colusa is located at approximately 39.2143° North latitude and 122.0094° West longitude. The city covers about 1.99 square miles (5.15 sq km) and had 6,411 residents in the 2020 Census. The Sacramento River flows just west of the city and plays an important role in the area's landscape and agriculture. Colusa was founded in the 1850s and incorporated in 1854.
