Commerce is a city in southeastern Los Angeles County, just east of downtown Los Angeles. Part of the Gateway Cities region, it is known for its busy industrial areas, shopping centers, and easy access to major freeways. The city is also home to Commerce Casino and the historic Citadel Outlets.

Commerce is a city located in Los Angeles County, California, the United States. It is about 6 miles southeast of downtown Los Angeles and roughly 15 miles from Long Beach. Commerce lies at approximately 34.0006° North latitude and 118.1598° West longitude. The city covers about 6.54 square miles (16.94 sq km) and had 13,911 residents in the 2020 Census. Commerce is surrounded by several dense communities in the Los Angeles metropolitan area and sits near the Los Angeles River. The city was incorporated in 1960 after local residents organized to protect the area from unwanted industrial development. Today, Commerce has a strong industrial and commercial base, with major transportation routes including Interstate 5, Interstate 710, Interstate 605, and State Route 60. Citadel Outlets is one of the city's best-known landmarks and attracts visitors from across the region.
