Ojai is a city located in Ventura County, California, the United States. It lies in the Ojai Valley of Southern California, about 12 miles north of Ventura and roughly 85 miles northwest of Los Angeles. Santa Barbara is about 35 miles west, while Santa Paula is around 20 miles southeast. Ojai is positioned near 34.448° North latitude and 119.243° West longitude. The 2020 Census recorded 7,637 residents. The city covers about 2.24 square miles, or 5.80 square kilometers. Ojai is surrounded by the Topatopa Mountains and is known for its mild climate, citrus groves, hiking trails, and views of the surrounding hills.
