Orinda is a city located in Contra Costa County, California, the United States. It lies in the East Bay hills, about 15 miles east of downtown San Francisco and roughly 5 miles east of Berkeley. Lafayette is about 5 miles northeast, while Oakland is around 10 miles southwest. Orinda is positioned near 37.878° North latitude and 122.180° West longitude.
