Sebastopol is a city located in Sonoma County, California, the United States. It lies in the Russian River Valley area of western Sonoma County, about 7 miles west of Santa Rosa and 15 miles southeast of Healdsburg. The city is roughly 55 miles north of San Francisco and close to the Laguna de Santa Rosa wetlands. Sebastopol is located at 38.4021° North latitude and 122.8239° West longitude. The 2020 Census recorded 7,615 residents. The city covers about 1.9 square miles (4.9 square kilometers), with nearly all of its area consisting of land. The Barlow is a well-known local attraction built around historic industrial buildings, shops, restaurants, and public spaces.
