Willits is about 25 miles north, while Hopland is approximately 15 miles south of Ukiah. The city is located at approximately 39.1502° North latitude and 123.2078° West longitude. The 2020 Census recorded 16,607 residents. Ukiah covers about 4.70 square miles, or approximately 12.17 square kilometers.
