It lies in southeastern Texas within the Coastal Bend region, about 25 miles north of Victoria and roughly 90 miles southwest of Houston. The city is located near the Lavaca River and Lake Texana, which is northeast of Edna. Edna is situated at approximately 28.98° North latitude and 96.65° West longitude.
