It lies in South Texas, about 30 miles southeast of downtown San Antonio, 35 miles northwest of Kenedy, and roughly 55 miles southwest of Seguin. Floresville is positioned at approximately 29.134° North latitude and 98.156° West longitude. The city covers about 6.71 square miles, or 17.37 square kilometers, of land. The 2020 Census recorded 7,133 residents, while recent estimates place the population at about 7,500. Floresville stands at an elevation of roughly 400 feet above sea level.
