Where is Heath Located?
Heath is a city located in Rockwall County, Texas, the United States. It lies about 25 miles east of downtown Dallas and roughly 5 miles south of Rockwall. Heath occupies a scenic position along the eastern side of Lake Ray Hubbard, a large reservoir on the East Fork of the Trinity River. The city is located at approximately 32.837° North latitude and 96.474° West longitude. The 2020 Census recorded 8,107 residents. Heath covers about 4.57 square miles, or 11.83 square kilometers, of land and water. Lake Ray Hubbard is the city's most prominent geographic feature and supports boating, fishing, and other outdoor activities. Heath was incorporated in 1959 and has developed from a small rural community into a residential suburb in the Dallas-Fort Worth region. Its location near Interstate 30 provides convenient access to Dallas, Rockwall, Garland, and other communities around the lake.
