Helotes is a city located in Bexar County, Texas, the United States. It lies about 20 miles northwest of downtown San Antonio and roughly 25 miles south of Boerne. Helotes sits near the transition between the San Antonio urban area and the Texas Hill Country, with rolling hills, limestone landscapes, and wooded areas nearby.
