Gladewater is part of the Longview metropolitan area and sits near U.S. Highway 80 and State Highway 271. The city is located at approximately 32.536° North latitude and 94.942° West longitude. The 2020 Census recorded 6,134 residents. Gladewater covers about 4.55 square miles, or 11.8 square kilometers.
