Estero is a village located in Lee County in the U.S. state of Florida, United States. The community was established in the late nineteenth century and developed around the historic Koreshan Unity settlement in southwest Florida. Estero officially incorporated as a village in 2014 following decades of residential and commercial growth in the region. Today the village is recognized for its master-planned communities, nature preserves, and its location between Fort Myers and Naples.
