Winter Springs is a city located in Seminole County in the U.S. state of Florida, United States. The community was established in the early twentieth century and was incorporated as the City of North Orlando in 1959 before officially adopting the name Winter Springs in 1972. Winter Springs developed from a small residential settlement into a suburban city as the Orlando metropolitan region expanded. Today the city is known for its residential neighborhoods, parks, and natural landscapes throughout Seminole County.
