Rockledge is a city located in Brevard County in the U.S. state of Florida, United States. The city was established in 1867 and later incorporated in 1887, making it one of the oldest municipalities in Brevard County. Rockledge developed historically as a riverfront settlement along the Indian River Lagoon and grew through agriculture, trade, and transportation in east-central Florida. Today the city is known for its historic homes, waterfront parks, and its location within Florida’s Space Coast region.
