Oldsmar is a city located in Pinellas County in the U.S. state of Florida, United States. The city was established in 1916 by automobile pioneer Ransom E. Olds as a planned community along the northern shore of Tampa Bay and was incorporated in 1925. Oldsmar developed historically through agriculture, fishing, and residential growth associated with the Tampa Bay region. Today the city is known for its waterfront parks, community recreation areas, and suburban neighborhoods.
