Lake Mary is a city located in Seminole County in the U.S. state of Florida, United States. The community was established in the late nineteenth century as a small agricultural settlement and was later incorporated as a city in 1973. Lake Mary developed rapidly during the late twentieth century as a residential and business center within the growing Orlando metropolitan region. Today the city is known for its corporate offices, residential neighborhoods, and well-planned commercial districts.
