Ocoee is a city located in Orange County in the U.S. state of Florida, United States. The city was established in the late nineteenth century and was incorporated in 1925 as an agricultural community known for citrus production. Ocoee developed historically through farming and local trade before expanding into a suburban residential area as the Orlando metropolitan region grew. Today the city is recognized for its residential neighborhoods, parks, and convenient location within central Florida.
