Orange City is a city located in Volusia County in the U.S. state of Florida, United States. The community was established in the late nineteenth century by settlers from the northern United States and was incorporated in 1882. Orange City developed historically through citrus farming and tourism supported by nearby natural springs and scenic landscapes. Today the city is known for its small-town atmosphere, parks, and proximity to Blue Spring State Park.
