Oviedo is a city located in Seminole County in the U.S. state of Florida, United States. The city was established in the late nineteenth century and was incorporated in 1925 as a small agricultural community known for celery farming and citrus production. Oviedo developed historically through farming and railroad transportation before expanding into a suburban residential city within the Orlando metropolitan region.
