Commonwealth Games Sports 2026

The 2026 Commonwealth Games, officially known as the XXIII Commonwealth Games, will be held in Glasgow, Scotland, from 23 July to 2 August 2026. Glasgow will become one of the few cities to host the Commonwealth Games twice, having previously staged the event in 2014.

The Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games will feature 10 sports and 207 medal events, bringing together around 3,000 athletes from 74 Commonwealth Games Associations (CGAs). Competitions will take place at world-class venues across Glasgow, including the Scotstoun Stadium, Tollcross International Swimming Centre, Emirates Arena, Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome, and the Scottish Event Campus (SEC).
