Denmark is divided into five Provinces, each of which has its own regional council and administration

Denmark is a Nordic country in Northern Europe made up of the Jutland Peninsula and hundreds of islands between the North Sea and the Baltic Sea. The country is divided into 5 regions, and those regions are further divided into municipalities for local administration. Copenhagen is the national capital and also the largest city in Denmark.

Denmark is known for its coastal landscapes, flat farmland, cycling culture, modern cities, and strong maritime history. Even though the country is relatively small in size, each region has its own local character, from busy urban areas around Copenhagen to quieter island communities and rural western coastlines.
